Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager (17-22K)

(Part-time, 6 to 12-month contract)]

Ming Ri Institute for Arts Education, founded in 1984 with the name Anonymity Dramatic Club, is the first professional children theatre company in Hong Kong. The institute has developed to a non-profit making charitable organization emphasizing the importance of both arts and education. Besides stage performances, Ming Ri promotes enthusiastically drama in education and provides support to teachers’ professional training. Ming Ri has long been cooperating with different international units to promote exchange of Eastern and Western puppetry and TYA.

Job Duties:

- oversee project planning and execution

- conduct research

- monitor budget and progress of the project

- maintain effective communication with parties involved in the project

- write report at the end of the project

Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree or above

- Experience in project management, research, or relevant work experience in art and cultural management for at least 5 years

- Knowledge and passion in performing arts/ theatre/ theatre management/ theatre for young audience

- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

- Ability to work independently and work under pressure
